We don’t collect your data
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Your work stays on your Mac
Projects, screenshots, fonts and frames are stored locally.
Uploads go straight to Apple
App Store Connect features talk directly to Apple. Nothing passes through us.
Purchases are handled by Apple
We never see your payment details.
1Information stored on your Mac
LaunchShots saves everything you create on your own Mac, inside the app’s private storage:
- Your projects, versions and translations
- Screenshots, background images and elements you add
- Fonts and device frames you import
- Your preferences, such as export settings and appearance
This information is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by deleting projects in the app or by removing the app.
2Your App Store Connect API key
If you choose to upload screenshots or view your App Store information, you add an App Store Connect API key (Issuer ID, Key ID and private key). The key is stored in your Mac’s Keychain and is used on your Mac to sign requests to Apple. It is never sent to us or to anyone other than Apple. You can remove it at any time in Settings → App Store Connect.
3Communication with Apple
When you use App Store Connect features, LaunchShots connects directly to Apple’s App Store Connect API to:
- list your apps, versions and languages
- upload the screenshots you choose, and remove existing ones when you ask it to
- show and download screenshots and listing details that are already in your account
- add languages and create or edit in-app purchases and subscriptions when you ask it to
This data is exchanged only between your Mac and Apple, and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. LaunchShots does not connect to any other server.
4Purchases
LaunchShots Pro subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, Apple Account, or payment information. Apple provides developers with aggregated, anonymous sales reports. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
5Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your Mac’s settings (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with us. These help us fix problems and do not identify you. You can turn this off at any time.
6Children
LaunchShots is a design tool for app developers. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7Changes to this policy
If we change how LaunchShots handles information, we will update this page and its effective date. Because LaunchShots does not collect data, we expect changes to be rare.
